Elven Steel, Elven Bows

Spent some time today undercoating the Maiden Guard and getting the base coats on the armour and weapons. The plan over the next few days and weeks is to get the mithril armour and blades done, then to work outwards - whites and greens - before going in with detail such as gold and skin. I'm not totally sure what sort of skintones to use, because I'm not massively convinced by the pale skin and blonde hair look. That's a while off for now though:

It's only 27 models but when you're batch painting it seems endless

I should probably also think about working on some of the Pile of Opportunity again, too, but for now I have High Elves on the brain!
