Death In The Mourning

During a Necromunda Dominion campaign, there is a sort of intermission or lull between the halves of the campaign. After the first three games (or sessions), everyone gets a free 250 credits to bulk up their gang. Now that sounds a lot, but a Heavy Stubber is 130 credits, so it doesn't go as far as you'd think. I hummed and hawed for a couple of days over what to do with my free creds, and ended up deciding to double down on the general close assault vibe of the Wyld Kats by adding a new Death Maiden. That left me a few creds left over, so I got some armour for my Gang Queen, Fancy Fliss, and original Death Maiden, Losse de Grey, to keep them a bit safer than they are at the moment, and then used some of my already existing creds to get a Rogue Doc to hopefully prevent any more deaths from happening.

So today I started on Jezebel Mourning, the newest member of the Wyld Kats (who may or may not be Ripperjack Knox in a new, horrifying form):

I haven't yet got any Wyld Kats in black and white - I have black and blue, red, pink, orange, yellow, purple, green and black by itself, but not black and white. I figured Jezebel Mourning would be a good candidate to have this reasonably ghostly colour scheme and it's still pretty cybergoth-esque, which is good. I'm probably going to shift the ribbons on the white braids to black, rather than white, just to make them stand out a bit more.

Also, just as an aide-memoire to myself more than anything else, I'm going to save up and get myself this lightbox to take photos in. It's quite expensive but I think the end result of better photos that really show off my minis will be worth it. Thinking about it though I might be able to get away with the slightly smaller one, although I'm not sure that'd take the larger minis I have, like tanks or greater demons.

Anyway, my main goal for the weekend is to finish Jezebel Mourning and then make a concerted effort to get more done on the Casket of Skulls that's been glaring ominously at me from the top of my printer for a while...
